Number 10: Ohio

     The silhouette of this gown pairs perfectly with her and flatters her tall figure. The chiffon cape drapes flawlessly giving the flow and movement needed to accentuate the angelic vibe of the overall gown, while also adding that hint of drama and wow factor.
    The cape is also perfectly paired with colorful straps that add the "teen" feel to this more mature seeming gown. The gown would be just as stunning with only the "off the shoulder" straps, though the two straps do draw the eye more than only one would. Overall, very angelic and just mature enough for a teen gown.

Ohio was unplaced at Miss Teen USA 2019.

Number 9: Tennessee

This white gown with hints of pink beading is overall stunning. The simplicity of a white ballgown is enough to draw the eye to the girl wearing it, but this gown is made even better by the high slit and splash of pink. 
This gown is a great balance of simple and fun. The style is great for any age in the teen division. The level of sexy or fun totally depends on how you choose to work the gown, having seen this gown worn many times in many colors, the impression you get is never the same.

Tennessee was in the Top 15 at Miss Teen USA 2019.

Number 8: Indiana

    Totally teen and totally cinderella vibes from this gown. The off the shoulder look is fun and flirty and gives the "strapless" effect with the comfort and appropriateness of having straps for a young teen look.
    The lace and beading on the top gives just enough detail to not off balance the beautiful layering on the skirt. I love her choice of having straight hair and pairing the gown with long chandelier earrings. The entire look is effortlessly gorgeous.

number 7: Connecticut

Such a modern look. This gown is a very high fashion move. While it seems very simple if you only consider the gown, the rest of the details make the look complete. The scarf/cape is totally out of the box and is for sure something you don't see often on the pageant stage. The colored beading adds more fun energy to the extremely pink look. This is all paired perfectly with the little hot pink earrings that draw it all together. I almost hadn't noticed the slit the gown has, it surely adds more movement to the skirt. This look is perfect for a teen contestant of any age.

number 6: Oklahoma

Right on the border of teen and miss if you ask me. It's all about the girl who is in it and how she works it. Oklahoma Teen did a great job making this look all about her. The one shoulder and slick pony draws you right to her stunning face. Velvet is always stunning on stage and paired with this ruffled white skirt is flawless. This is a great look for an older teen who still wants to have some fun in her wardrobe.

Oklahoma was in the Top 15 at Miss Teen USA 2019.

number 5: Texas

Curled bottom organza is one of my favorite things a gown could have. I love that the top of the skirt is shaped into "V" cut, it is a great way to show off an hour glass figure while in a ball gown, it pairs perfectly with the thin stoned spaghetti straps that draws you to her very fit arms. While I love the choice of white, I can imagine this gown would be stunning on her in any color. The high curled pony was the "cherry on top" for this look.

Texas was unplaced at Miss Teen USA 2019. (How??)

Number 4: Nevada

Very similar to Connecticuts gown choice but styled very differently. The separate fully stoned top with a high neck and shoulder pads is such a gorgeous detail, I cant tell if she has earrings, but with the flawless cape piece, she honestly doesn't need them. The skirt of her dress also appears more pleated and doesn't seem to have a slit like Connecticuts did. Her stunning straight dark hair makes this look as sleek as could be.

Nevada was 2nd Runner Up at Miss Teen USA 2019.

number 3: Louisiana

A totally teen gown, the periwinkle color grasps your attention. I don't remember seeming so many periwinkle gowns until this Louisiana Teen came out in hers, it seemed to set a trend for the 2020 state pageant season. The fully beaded top and high neck paired with her low pony draws you to her beautiful face and the loose front curls frame it all perfectly. The curled organza on the bottom of the thin skirt also give her a tall appearance that ballgowns can sometimes take away from. 

Louisiana was unplaced at Miss Teen USA 2019 (Should have placed if you asked me)

Number 2: MICHIGAN

The color of this gown alone is enough to make you say "wow!" This beautiful aquamarine dress almost seems to glow on stage. The stunning flowing ballgown skirt with the loosely curled bottom appears to just float across the stage flawlessly. The strapless, drop waist look pairs perfectly with the skirt. I would have liked to seen her hair styled differently, but I personally wouldn't let that effect my score had I been a judge. Her confidence and this gown are an unstoppable duo.

Michigan was unplaced at Miss Teen USA 2019. (Robbed in my opinion)

NUMBER 1: UTAH

This is a gown straight out of my pageant dreams. There is nothing this gown doesn't have. The beautiful fully beaded gown is stunning enough, but the high neck with the scalloped detail is amazing. The beadwork is also something that deserves to be noted. It is so regal. Not to forget the beautiful baby blue curled bottom organza cape which just completes the entire gown. I think a large stud may have been a better earring choice, and I wish the shoes weren't visible. But thats just me drawing at straws for critiques to try and understand how this fierce competitor and amazing gown went unplaced at Miss Teen USA 2019.
