OFFICIAL MISS TEXAS USA LOCAL PRELIMINARIES 

I strongly recommend the official locals to all girls wanting to begin their journey to the Miss Texas USA crown. Winning a local pageant is not required and anyone is welcome to compete at the state pageant, but there is so much that competing in and winning a local can give and teach you. Winners receive their entry fee to that state competition and a prize package from sponsors to help prepare for the state pageant, win or lose there is a lot to gain from the local experience. It is a great way for a "newbie" to work their way into the system, or for a veteran to earn her spot as a titleholder at Miss Texas USA!
